What are patches for?
Patches look like pouches soaked in a cosmetic substance. During close contact with the body, they warm up, and useful elements are quickly absorbed, penetrating the skin cells.
Hydrogel patches under the eyes are very convenient because they stay on the face perfectly. They were glued for 20 minutes, and you can go about your business without fear that they will come off. This tool has a complex effect:

Rules for using patchesPatches should be glued under the lower eyelid, retreating 1-3 mm from the mucous membrane of the eye, with the wide side to the outer edge of the face, and the narrow side to the bridge of the nose. Try to place them so as to cover the problem area as much as possible. Securely secure the patch by gently pressing it down. A quality product will not slip.
It is necessary to wear the patches, following the instructions, as a rule, no more than 20 minutes. After use, the it should be thrown away, and the essence should be left until it is completely absorbed. The serum from the package can be applied separately, tapping into the skin with the pads of the fingers.
To achieve the maximum effect, it is recommended to complete the course. Usually 2-3 times a week is enough, but the number of applications depends on the specific product. You need to take a break between courses. Of course, you can hardly do any harm with excessive use of patches, but there is a risk of wasting them: after all, the skin needs rest and time for natural recovery.
Improving the effect of patchesCosmetologists suggest performing simple actions that can increase the effect of such cosmetics:
- Preliminary skin massage. Pat under the lower lid with your fingertips. Such movements warm the skin and relieve swelling. But in no case do not rub or stretch the epidermis!
- Clean the skin well before the procedure: then vitamins and useful substances will be better absorbed.
- Stick the patches not only on the area under the eyes, but also on the nasolabial folds, forehead and other problem areas.
How to store your patchesThe manufacturer indicates the temperature for his product individually. In general, most patches are stored in the refrigerator (not the freezer!) in a sealed package or native essence jar. The low temperature of the hydrogel provides an additional drainage effect. The product tolerates room temperature well, so don't be afraid to take it with you on a trip.
It is worth saying that this cosmetic product receives a lot of criticism. You should not expect an instant effect from it, as from cosmetology procedures. Patches maintain the youth and beauty of the skin, rather than eliminating the signs of aging that have already appeared on the face. Therefore, any product should be used wisely, combining it with other care cosmetics.
