Oily skin care in summer
Oily skin type is most difficult in the summer. Choose light textures and fewer stages of care. If the skin is actively secreting sebum, then it is better to skip intermediate products and limit yourself to: cleaning - toning - moisturizing - protection from the sun.
Thoroughly cleanse the skin with hydrophilic oil and cream-gel and gel cleansers. Do not forget about toning. Choose moisturizing with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, aloe, allantoin. If you go outside, the last step is sunscreen.
Dry and normal skin care in summer
Cleanse the skin with a combination of micellar water + foam, cream-gel with moisturizing components, for example, hyaluronic acid. Then - toning - fluids / serums - cream - sunscreen. Focus on moisturizing and layer it in several stages even in the summer.
If there is a need for active components (Vitamin C, niacin, acids), enter them in the serum so that, if necessary, they can be easily removed from your care. Use sunscreen.
What ingredients are suitable for summer care?
These components can be divided into two groups: those that soothe and restore, and those that neutralize free radicals - antioxidants.
Restorative ingredients:
- Centella - perfectly heals wounds, has an anti-inflammatory and rejuvenating effect.
- Panthenol – relieves tightness, burning, eliminates redness, works on moisturizing in low concentrations.
- Aloe - practically does not cause allergic reactions, therefore it is used in cosmetics for people with sensitive and reactive skin.
- Azulen - chamomile extract, has a strong anti-inflammatory and soothing effect.
- Green tea - pay attention if you have problem and combination skin prone to oiliness.
Substances that neutralize free radicals on the surface of the skin and stimulate internal processes, slowing down the aging process.
- Vitamin C - protects the skin from UV radiation, pigmentation, stimulates the production of collagen and gives the skin a unique glow. But it does not replace SPF, but only supplements it. Choose a product with this component in a darkened glass package.
- Vitamin E works best in combination with vitamin C. Often it is immediately added to sunscreens.
